Welcome
The school " The Interaction of Stars with the Interstellar Medium of Galaxies ",
held in the
beautiful French Alps, will cover different
physical and chemical processes
acting in HII regions,
photodissociation regions and shocks in the interstellar medium,
as
well as the resulting observational characteristics. The school will
have a
practical approach, with special attention to the
confrontation
of theory with observations.
